Louis Weisberg

Louis Weisberg was born in Huntington, WV, and currently resides in Charleston, WV. He graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management.
Louis has driven innovation and growth within Service Wire Company since being appointed to the role of president in 1990. He is responsible for championing three state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities that produce high-quality products.
As a second-generation, privately-held organization, Service Wire has embraced its three founding cornerstones through Louis’ commitments to safety at home and in the workplace; industry-leading quality; and service, the core value that has put the company in business for over 50 years.
Louis has developed three additional areas of commitment for the company:
- Continuous Investment – making capital expenditures a priority
- Technology – utilizing innovative tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency
- Passion for the Industry – offering a comprehensive benefit package and effective training programs to drive long-term employment
Throughout his career, Louis has worked diligently to build effective organizations, launch new products, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. He is fortunate to be involved with many charitable and educational causes in the communities in which he works.
Louis is an active member of many professional organizations, including the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) and the International Cable Federation (ICF). He serves on several local boards including The Marshall University Foundation, Inc., Discover the Real West Virginia, and BB&T (Trust) Community Advisory Board. In 2019, he was recipient of Wire and Cable Manufacturers Alliance’s Distinguished Career Award.
He is married to Liz, and they have two daughters, Trish and Marlo.
